A Passion for Perfume
Spring attracts change and novelties, maybe even in your perfume shelf. The selection of niche scents has been widened by Swiss brand Tauer Perfumes, which works with the highest quality natural ingredients.
It’s a bit of a "one-man show" and a tale about how a chemist became a world-renowned perfumer. Andy Tauer lives and works in Zürich. He is completely self-taught, but using his specialized education, a nose trained by pure oils, a love of art, and experiences from his travels around the world, he is able to perfectly create beautiful and unique scents.
Andy takes his time when creating a new scent. The carefully chosen precious and natural ingredients' molecules are intermingled to achieve a perfect result. Andy shops for ingredients all over the world. He gets his incense from the Middle East, tuberose extracts from India, and rose oil from Afghanistan.
Perfumes from Tauer Perfumes are precious - every year, Andy makes at most nine thousand flacons and supplies only the best perfumeries oriented in haute perfumes. In the Czech Republic, you can buy his perfumes at the Brno perfumery Vavavoom.
Andy Tauer – like only a few other perfumers – writes about his passion for scents and the creation of perfume on his blog. The current Soffa 26 issue is also dedicated to passion in its many forms.
