From Morning Soup to a Midnight Cocktail
In May, two places to see on the Prague café map. In Holešovice, there is Cà Phê where you can start in the morning not only with coffee but also with a bowl of phó. Point Gallery, just a few steps from the Bethlehem Chapel, allows you to have something a little bit stronger than just a cup of coffee.
Cà Phê - Welcome the day with the phó
Cozy Vietnamese cafeteria and bistro where they serve more than just Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk - Cà Phê.
Andrea Kroupová and Martina Śandová of Andrea & Martina Studio are the interior designers of Cà Phê. On the floor level, there is the original terrazzo, which reflects colors from the lotus-colored wallpaper that was hand-painted by Kateřina Blahakova for their friend Le Bao Ngoc, the owner of the café.

Point Gallery - Overnight Cafe, Night Bar
Point Gallery is multi-functional space where you can have breakfast in the morning, go for a business appointment, and order drink at night, all while enjoying the view of contemporary art. Point also serves as a café, bar and gallery, space for workshops, informal parties, concerts, summer cinemas and a spot where a business can arrange a pop-up in the courtyard of the Bethlehem Chapel. (See all the events on Facebook Point Gallery). Best of all, it’s right in the center of Prague!
The interior is part of the studio of DD Arch and Robert Hubička. We were particularly interested in the use of the expanded metal (Eisen.cz), light installation (XYZ project) and blown lights from the Glass School in Nový Bor. Drink here from the Crystalite Bohemia Crystalite glass from Světlá and Sázavou while you sit in chairs Split by Ton surrounded by a beautifully dark room.
