Papelote Combines Elegance and Innovative Design in a New Collection of Notebooks

Czech brand Papelote will be celebrating their 10th anniversary in 2019 and will be releasing a new collection that incorporates both novel styles and old favorites.

As 2018 comes to an end, the search for a new diary begins. Papelote’s new collection is coming out just in time for the new year, helping us organize our lives in their colorful and functional notebooks. The collection includes a wide range of products, from weekly planners to simple journals. Papelote’s founder, Kateřina Šachová notes that these new diaries “open the door to dreaming, reminiscing and free interpretation."

The collection has organizational materials like the weekly "planblok" planner or the even simpler universal diary with blank pages waiting to be filled. The literary diary, a unique combination of a book and journal, will be brought back. It features micro-stories by award-winning writer Ondřej Buddeus, while still providing the owner with space for their own literary creations.

Filip Šach’s dreamy photographs are spread throughout the notebooks, livening up the blank pages. Papelote also introduced the “exhibition in a box”, containing Filip Šach’s photographs. They can be used for a variety of purposes, including as a postcard, bookmark, or even gift-wrapping paper.

Papelote has also gotten rid of plastic casing in favor of a more durable, eco-certified vegan leather made of cellulose. The brand is committed to sustainability and uses eco-friendly, Czech materials to make their notebooks.
